The purpose of this assignment is to help you expand your networking skills beyond your professional connections once you have graduated.
Please identify three (3) organizations and do research on them as follows – none of these three organizations can be an industry association or a hospitality company (such as a Hilton or a Marriott):
Think of the geographic area where you hope to live once you graduate.
Identify two non-profit and/or charity organization that you feel would be good for you to volunteer and or join once you are professionally employed. starting your new position.
Identify/locate the SHM PSHR Network leader(you will have to go to our SHM website) for your city or area, if there is one, and if not, you must locate the closest Penn State Alumni Society (all university), irrespective if you are moving out of the US. The Nittany Nation is global.
Research all three organizations – In a paragraph of research for each of those three organizations you have identified explain what each of the three organization do, and why would you want to join these organizations. Make sure you dedicate one para each to the three of these organizations.
