Instructions:
For this assignment, you will keep a food journal for 24 hours and then analyze your nutritional intake based on the MyPlate model. To be valuable, your food journal should be recorded on an “average” day for you, (that is, not when you are celebrating a big occasion or when you are sick). You will also consider other food guideline recommendations and set goals to improve your nutrition and overall health. The purpose of the assignment is to allow you more practice with evaluating nutrients and to help you reflect on your own nutritional needs. (Note: If you are not comfortable recording your own intake, please contact the instructor for a generic food log to analyze.)

The assignment is provided in Rich Text Format (RTF) and as a PDF file. Please use the format that you are most comfortable with on your device. The two additional resources are provided to support your analysis of your nutritional intake.
