Throughout this capstone course, you will be responsible for analyzing and creating a strategic plan for a company of your choosing. Within each module, we will focus on specific elements of this analysis, and then you will complete assignments in which you will develop a portion of the Company Analysis and Strategic Plan . Your professor will then review/grade and will provide you with feedback. You will be able to incorporate this feedback when you submit your final complete Company Analysis and Strategic Plan in Module 5.
Review the “Introduction to the Company Analysis and Strategic Plan for MBA 7000″ section above. In this first assignment, you will begin this process, focusing on the Introduction. It is highly suggested that you begin this assignment as soon as possible.

Begin your research by finding/reading the last four annual reports and all current information on the company that you have selected.

Historical background of the company (5-8 pages)
Discuss the mission, vision, and values of the company (1-2 pages)
Prepare an analysis of the industry in which the company operates by discussing the distinguishing features (Market size, Market growth rate, Industry strength, etc.) of the industry (5-10 pages)
Describe recent problems that exist within the company and/or industry necessitating attention (2-3 pages)
