This assignment relates to the following Course Learning Requirements:

CLR 5: Locate relevant networks to support the development and improvement of services to clients in the community
CLR 6: Illustrate how organizations and networks can be used to support the ongoing treatment of clients in the community to ensure an integrated approach to care.
CLR 7: Describe the societal and political issues that impact the delivery of community services to clients in order to navigate community resources for clients.
CLR 8: Understand the significance of inter-professional teams in the treatment process in order to ensure appropriate community care for the client.
Objective of this Assignment:
To identify and research community partnerships as well as community barriers regarding treatment.

1. For this assignment you will need a minimum of 4 outside resources. This may include interviews you arrange with agencies to gather information; and this is strongly encouraged.
Assignment Tasks:
Your essay must have a proper flow with an introduction and conclusion. Headers may be used to organize information. Using outside research, answer the following questions within your essay, ensure the use of in-text citations to clearly demonstrate utilized research materials.

2) What current barriers to accessing treatment are prevalent in your local community? Does the partnership you explored address any of these barriers?
a. What are some of the causes/contributing factors to these barriers?
b. What recommendations do you have for addressing some of these barriers?
c. Are any agencies currently advocating for changes that will impact these barriers?
