This is a research paper about Starbucks’ strategic plan.
Definition of Strategic Plan – a plan that includes the major goals, objectives, and action steps of the organization into a comprehensive document. This plan is a long-term plan that may be for a period of three to five years. There are different parts of a strategic plan, which includes vision, mission, goals, objectives, and strategies, which may be referred to as action steps.
Strategic Planning – a process that identifies goals, objectives, and strategies used to move the organization toward its vision. The planning process also reviews resource allocation to meet specific objectives. This process is a continuous one that assesses where the organization is and where it expects to be in the future.
