In this report you are going to build your own equity portfolio. You will use Yahoo Finance (or similar platforms) to develop a portfolio and monitor its performance over the next two weeks. (Please use dates in February)
Select a portfolio of securities
Decide a benchmark
Choose a style of investing
Analyze two weeks’ performance
Justify all your positions in brief paragraphs
Use the template provided to write a two page maximum report
Include charts that evaluate the allocations by sector and if relevant geography
Include your evaluation of the effects of micro and macro news on your portfolio and your perspective of how your portfolio will perform in the future
Your report will be under the standard guidelines of the reports, but please use the example report to use as a template (uploaded examples).
Standard guideline: 1 page minimum and 2 pages maximum.
