Teaching Practicum Task – Revised Bloom’s and Webb’s DoK

Teaching Practicum – You have two weeks to develop this lesson plan.
You may NOT use a topic you have used for a previous lesson plan. You must select grade 5 or higher in a Core Subject Area only (Math, Science, English Language Arts, or History/Economics/Government (no elective classes).
Develop an IO correctly that includes questioning, discussion, and cooperative learning as Conditions. [10 points]
The IO must reach the Evaluation & Synthesis levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy [2 points]
The Body of the lesson plan must contain at least 6 Questions & labeled at the correct level of Bloom’s Taxonomy (at least 1 question for each level). [18 points – 3 points for each ]
The Body of the lesson plan must also include a Discussion [4 points]- be sure to indicate how the Discussion initiates and an idea of what will be discussed.
A Lesson Extension Cooperative Learning Activity/Assignment that is labeled for the correct quadrant of Webb’s DoK. [6 points]
Complete all other sections of the lesson plan correctly and completely for up to 20 points in extra credit as follows:
Standard -1 point
Differentiation – 10 points (Gardner’s 2 points/Content-Process-Product 2 points/VKAT 2 points/Stimulus variation 2 points/ESOL 2 points)
Content Outline – 3 points
Materials – 1 point
Set – 3 points
Closure – 3 points
Assessment – 2 point
References – 1 point
