Mid-Term Exam Question- Explain why apocalypse mythology remains such a prevalent aspect of many cultures/religions. (A strong answer will acknowledge parallels between several different apocalypse stories and give at least 2 theories as to why these stories have staying power.)
I’ve included a scan of two chapters of the textbook. You will also need to watch Crash Course Mythology #24 Ragnarok, available on YouTube, and read the additional file, which is prior homework that I did that relates to Ragnarok, the myth. It covers the movie “Apocalypse,” from “The Story of God” series with Morgan Freeman. You can probably find this video on YouTube.
I’ve also included additional information that the teacher included with the exam for your review.
This paper needs to be 500-700 words long and needs to use parenthetical notes as well as a Works Cited page and be in MLA format. You must cite the textbook. I’ve included that information along with chapters 13 and 14.
