Choose four research articles that report on the same topic or issue from different methodological approaches. The journal articles should report empirical studies, where the researchers report methods or procedures for data collection and/or analysis. You might include studies reviewed in the annotated bibliography (the previous task you completed for me, I can upload it if you need it for reference), but I encourage you to explore the issue further by extending your search to a range of approaches to the same problem. The aim of this task is to evaluate the relative merits and limitations of each research design, to show that how the research question is explored determines what answers emerge. For each of the papers reviewed, respond to the following questions: What was the main purpose of the research? What methodology and method(s) did the study use? What findings did the research design make possible? Were there particular ethical issues? What does this approach to research contribute to our understanding of education practice?
