Thus far, we have discussed two of the approaches in research—qualitative and quantitative. The line between quantitative and qualitativecan be an interesting one because there is really no pure version of one or the other. Having an understanding of the essential differencesbetween qualitative and quantitative methods can help in choosing the optimum study design and in balancing the two approaches.
In your discussion, carefully analyze the differences between each of the research approaches. In your discussion, list advantages,disadvantages and limitations that may be present for each approach using citations and references to validate your argument.
