My proposed topic is how education regarding contraction can empower women in Canada’s remote First Nations communities. I believe that if we can empower women to become teachers in their communities, positive change can be achieved.

Must include teaching and learning theory with regard to SOTL (the scholarship of teaching and learning) and some relevance to how nurses can teach community members to be teachers.
