The importance of standardization in a business’s IT Infrastructure. This includes core switches, management and data switches, routers, access points, cabling, and endpoints (user PC’s, printers, etc…). This thesis is about the importance of maintaining, and implementing standardization across the IT environment for any corporate business and how not maintaining/implementing standardization of the IT infrastructure can negatively impact the business operations.
