exhibition:

arranged? What display methods/tactics are being used to organize the fashion objects?
–Is the exhibition traditional (historical costume in chronological order) or modern (based
on a theme/idea/theoretical concept)?
–From your own perspective, does the exhibit focus on the artistic, rather than the
commercial? Is there a deliberate intention to try to educate museumgoers on the
garments’ design processes, inspiration, and social and cultural values, forging a more
engaged viewership?
–What garments are included in the exhibition? In addition to garments, has the
exhibition included other media (music, videos, prints, drawings, posters, etc.)? How do
these supplementary materials (if any) contribute to develop or extend the theme or aims
of the exhibition?
–Pick one garment from the exhibition and describe in detail: What is its history? How
does it relate to contemporary fashion? How is it displayed? What role does the garment
play within the exhibition? Why did you think it was relevant and what did you learn
from it?

of fashion as art. From your perspective, was the exhibit successful and worth going?

people? Why so? What should be done for the exhibit to be more attractive?
