This assignment asks you to apply statistical tests and concepts learned throughout this course analyzing the relationship between at least two nominal variables, two ordinal variables, and three continuous variables, and to interpret and present results in the form of a research report. Your data analysis will be based on data collected as part of the General Social Survey and the automated SDA: Survey Documentation and Analysis feature as provided by the ICPSR’s website. SDA was developed at the University of California Berkeley and provides a built-in data analysis program for analyzing data online. The assignment requires you to use the SDA feature to:
Visualize all of your variables using appropriate graphs/charts.
Display and interpret frequency tables of all nominal variables.
Recode variables that you are using for bivariate analysis that have more than 4 response categories.
Create and interpret at least three contingency tables regarding:
Existence
Strength
Direction
Pattern
