Details: This portion of your research paper invites you to consider elements of the college environment that are important for your student population. Citing at least 6 articles (you can include the ones you used in earlier papers), describe the college environment for your population in about 2-3 pages. After reading and analyzing the research articles you have found, draw out 2-3 major themes from the research related to college environments for the population you are studying. Use subheadings to identify those themes within your paper. You don’t need to answer all of these questions, but here are a few that might help you think about how you are framing your paper: What do we know about the group’s success in college? What are trends you are finding in research concerning how college affects the population? What are common barriers for success or potential opportunities for success? How does the population describe the college environment?
