Write a paper on Cybersecurity law, artificial intelligence law and regulation (EU law focus)
Topic: Originally I wanted to examine the role of cybersecurity
laws in regulating AI by examining the Network and Information Security
Directive of the EU because with the increasing use of smart cities, digital
twins, AI powered critical infrastructure etc. I believed that the necessary
compliance with cybersecurity laws in these areas could also determine how AI
is used securely and responsibly. However, with the new cybersecurity act in
the EU and the AI Act in the EU, I am also interested about the intersection of
AI and AI laws with cybersecurity and cybersecurity laws in general. Therefore,
I am okay with any dissertation topic that would examine this, however, as it
stands, it seems too general of a topic to examine and I am looking for someone to narrow
the thesis subject down much further for an in-depth up-to-date high quality legal analysis.
