Write a paper on the Streetcar Boycotts and African American Citizenship in the Era of Plessy v. Ferguson, Blair L.M. KelleyIn Right to Ride: Streetcar
Boycotts and African American Citizenship in the Era of Plessy v. Ferguson, Blair
L.M. Kelley (2010) argued “[t]he nadir generation was neither silent nor
accommodating and was not cowed by Jim Crow. The proponents of these protests
were willing to band together to resist the humiliation of second-class
citizenship” (p. 199).

For your paper, identify the different methods used to
challenge restrictions on public transportation and analyze the effectiveness
of these methods. In your paper, you will need to use at least three different
examples in your analysis.

The
only source you will use for this paper is the book Right to Ride:
Streetcar Boycotts and African American Citizenship in the Era of Plessy v.
Ferguson by Blair L.M. Kelley.

Your essay will be typed, using 12-point Times
New Roman (or a comparable) font and 1-inch margins all around.

All
papers will be double-spaced. Do not skip lines between paragraphs. Your name
must be in a header on all pages.

Your
essays will be a minimum of three pages in length. The length will be computed
by starting from the first line of writing on the first page and ending with
the last line of writing on the last page.

Failing
to meet page lengths will result in a failing grade. I will stop reading at the
bottom of the fifth page; subsequent material will be ignored.

Citations
will be in APA format. Assistance with APA formatting can be found through the
LSCS-Libraries.
