Your essay should be 800 -1,000 words (over 1,000 is acceptable but below eight hundred words is unacceptable).

The purpose of this essay is to provide an argument for the prescription. Explain the reason why someone in this field has this moral obligation. The thesis statement should reflect your prescriptive position. The prescription should be supported by a normative theory. Discuss how that normative theory supports the prescription.
Caution: Do not say that one is morally obligated to do (or not do) something simply because a rulebook or a law says that one is. See “The Priority Problem” in your textbook. You may explain the reason(s) behind such a rule or law, but your essay is arguing for moral reasons for the prescription.
