For your analytical exploration, you might answer questions such as: What ideas are useful
to you as a writer? How can you apply these ideas to your writing?
Write and incorporate explanations of key concepts, specific examples, and quotes from the reading to support and illustrate your ideas. Providing explanations of key concepts allows the reader to
understand the source you are writing about and its connection to your ideas and analysis.
Including examples from the text you are writing about gives your work academic authority and
allows the reader to compare your ideas and analysis with the source you are writing about.
