Report and interpret at least one significant coefficient that was used as a control. This means reporting the value of the coefficient, its level of significance, and a short explanation for why it was significant.

Using the numbers and your knowledge of each statistic, describe the N, Mean, Median and Standard Deviation for your IV and DV using the output from your Descriptive Statistics table. Ideally you should also describe these values for variables used as controls.
Using numbers (mean and median for histograms, percentages for comparative stacked bar charts) describe the distribution of the data as it relates to the variables used to create it. That is, use the question and values (responses) along with the numbers as part of your interpretation.
Using the correlation table, interpret the correlation coefficient (r) between your IV and DV. If you do not know how to do this, again, consult an external source (and cite it). This is not hard, and it is something anyone can do with effort.
Part II
IF YOU RAN A REGRESSION
Write a paragraph that provides an interpretation of the coefficient for your independent variable of interest AND at least one control variable.

a) For the main IV, report the exact value (i.e., b=x.xxx) and state whether the coefficient is positive or negative; explain what the coefficient, its value, and level of significance mean in relation to your hypothesis.

d) Report and interpret at least one significant coefficient that was used as a control. This means reporting the value of the coefficient, its level of significance, and a short explanation for why it was significant.

Report the r-square for your regression model and describe what it means with respect to how good of a “fit” you model is for the data. Remember, the r-square is not a correlation, it is a measure of how well your model fits the data! You will need to cite a source, but all stats books talking about regression will have a section on the r-square, so you should already have a source to cite.
Come to a conclusion about the results with regard to your research hypothesis and question. You should use the literature and theory in your thesis to inform your interpretation.
