Students will answer the question below in at least five pages. Students will answer the following question using evidence from the class materials. The class materials consist of the textbook, video lectures, Canvas readings, and documentaries. No outsides sources should be used in the reflective essay.
Assess the period from 1865-2000. Many changes (political, social, and technological) happened during these years. What do you see as the major successes and failures during this time? Why? What are the major themes that stand out to you? Give specific examples.
Assignments should be turned in on time. A letter grade will be deducted for every day late. This includes weekends.
Students should use Turabian or Chicago Style citations. In other words, students should use footnote citations when citing sources.
The assignments will be double-spaced, be in Times New Roman, and use 12 point font.
Papers will be checked for plagiarism using Unicheck. The penalty for plagiarism is a zero on the paper.
