Exegesis papers

exegesis elements listed above, the student will complete a 3000-4000 word exegesis
paper (usually 8-12 pages) on an assigned passage.10 sources should be cited in the paper. At least
two of the 10 sources. At least four of the 10 sources must be monographs (books) or commentaries. A maximum of two internet sources may be used. The student is responsible for determining the reliability and all papers should be formatted according to Turabian (7th ed.) (see Canvas > Exegesis Resources > Turabian Formatting for guidelines and examples). Papers should be submitted to Canvas. The Final Exegesis will be processed through TurnItIn, which is now integrated with Canvas.Students will take a subjective final exam (see Current Assignments link for final exam dates). The
final exam will focus on identifying biblical genres, identifying interpretive issues related to various
genres, and the interpretive journey as presented by the textbook.

The final paper does not have page numbers for the footnotes. When you rework the final paper, the citations MUST have page numbers to be complete.
