In Richard III, what do the speeches of Richmond [“More than I have said, loving countrymen . . .”] (5.3.237-70) and Richard [“What shall I say more than I have inferred”?. . .] (5.3.314-41) to their respective troops before the battle tell us about the two characters?
Examine these two speeches in some detail.
