When you watch the film, think about the following:
• What differences in healthcare do you notice between rural India and the US? How does that impact the people who live there?
• How will the cleft surgery impact the lives of Pinki and Ghutaru? How might their lives change because of the surgery?
• What are some of the beliefs about clefts that are described in the film?
• What is your reaction to the film? What did you learn? What surprised you?
