Describe an alternative approach , that is an approach that goes against your own approach, and say why you believe your approach is better than that alternative.

The term paper is an argument and research paper where you establish and defend your personal view while arguing for it in light of alternatives. The paper will be graded by the following grading criteria:
Answer the following question in your paper: which approach to religious diversity do you think is the best one among all the alternatives? Describe an alternative approach , that is an approach that goes against your own approach, and say why you believe your approach is better than that alternative.
Take a critical stand with argument.
Substantially describe and critically evaluate in the body of your paper the works of 6 authors writing about the issue whose work you cite at the end of your paper.
The names of the 6 authors must be given in the body of your text.
Of the 6 authors, at least two must go against (that is, be alternatives to) your own personal view of the issue.
Of the 6 authors, at least two must support your own personal view of the topic.
The two remaining authors, after finding two who go against and two who support, can take any stand as long as it relates closely to the issue stated above.
The works of the 6 authors writing on the topic must have originally come from essays published in books or journals, not from blogs or just pages on a website.
At the bottom of your paper, cite all 6 sources using the following format:
Author
Title
Journal title or book title (Essays republished online must have the original publication information from a journal or a book).
Date published
Substantially argue against the two alternative viewpoints while using the names of people who hold those viewpoints, saying why your view is better than the alternatives.
Reflect, where relevant, the related ideas talked about in the lectures and in the readings
Do not plagiarize
Your work must be substantially different than the work of your colleagues
Have no more than two grammar or spelling mistakes per page
Have the right amount of words which is at least 1,600 words (1,800 if an honors student),
Keep copies of your papers because rarely papers do get lost due to computer problems.
Papers must be submitted as a Microsoft Word file.
