Project/Assignment: Analysis of Financial Statements
Choose a firm whose stock is traded on stock exchanges, and then visit its Web site.
Write one page introduction about the firm’s activity, industry, competitors…etc.
Go to Yahoo Finance Web site (or a similarly), and then locate the firm’s annual financial reports for last two years (typically found under Financial Reports, Financial Statements, Financial Facts, Financial Document, or some such link).
Start the Analysis of Financial Statements: Liquidity Ratios, Asset Management Ratios, Debt Management Ratios, Profitability Ratios, and Market Value Ratios. (one page for each Ratios and then a summary of financial ratios similar to the textbook.
Write a conclusion using the financial ratios to assess the firm performance.
