Conduct a full literature review on academic research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the financial markets and institutions. Academic articles are those formally and scientifically written by scholars in the field. They can be searched on ssrn.com (Links to an external site.), scholar.google.com, PVAMU electronic library, especially SCOPUS,

Note that academic articles are very different from articles written by or for practitioners or the general public. Also, note that your review should not come from just one academic journals as it may have a biased view.
What constitutes financial markets and institutions are defined in your textbook. Browse through the textbook’s content to make sure your works are related and limited to the correct markets and institutions. You can choose only one or a few areas to write a review on. You do not need to find articles on all markets and institutions discussed in the textbook. Because your review needs to be coherent, jumping from one market or institution to another without a coherent theme could make readers confused. Your job is to inform readers of what scholars have done quantitatively or qualitatively to assess or analyze the impact of the pandemic. Examples of financial markets include money markets, bond markets, stock markets, derivatives markets, foreign exchange markets, and mortgage markets and examples of financial institutions include commercial banks, other lending institutions, insurance companies, investment banks, pension funds, mutual funds, etc.
The review should focus primarily on the U.S. financial markets and institutions, but can include international markets and institutions. It cannot contain discussion of only international financial markets and institutions.
