While all types of requirements are critical to software quality, functional requirements can be considered the most valuable to users of the system.
In this Assignment, you will learn to distinguish functional requirements from other types of requirements.

Read Chapters 11 and 12 in your course text.
Read the functional requirements articles.
Review your thoughts in the Discussion Board and consider any feedback from colleagues.

Submit a document in which you address the following:
Compare and contrast functional requirements from other types of requirements.
Provide an analysis of the different types of functional
requirements. Explain which type you believe is most significant to
quality initiatives. Justify your thoughts.
Develop a plan for eliciting and documenting functional requirements.
Extending your initial post in this week’s Discussion, include an overall plan for requirements engineering.
Ensure that your process is consistent with a variety of SEMs evaluated in Week 2. Justify your thoughts.
Using the defined plan, develop a high-level list of functional requirements for the case organization.
