In this essay 50% of the information must be pulled from the American Voter Revisited book by Hemlet Norpoth.
Draw a statistical portrait of either the Trump voter or the Biden voter (your pick) in the 2020 election.
The research for this portrait must be based on two sources:
(1) Data from national exit polls of the 2020 presidential vote conducted by Edison Research for the National Election Pool. They are available on the websites of major news organizations. Note that FoxNews conducted its own exit polls. Include at least 5 exit-poll tabulations (copy-and-paste is OK, but acknowledge source).
(2) Ideas taken from required course readings. Devote about half of the paper to a discussion of that material. Use at least five verbatim quotes (not all from the same reading).
Note: It is not required, or even encouraged, that you use outside material for the paper; but if you do, make
sure to acknowledge it properly.
Word count: 4,000 words (no less and not much more).
