STEP 2: Select an area of research. Pick one of the following research topics.
Option #1: As an applied behavior therapist working with children with Autism, you are interested in the effect of rewards on minimizing disruptive behavior.
Option #2: As a business owner, you are interested in whether your employees getting to choose when their break is affects their overall employee productivity.
Option #3: As a couples counselor, you are interested in the effect of the perspective taking method (i.e., during session you have partners practice taking the perspective of their partner) on empathy towards partner.

In this worksheet, you will be identifying your research area of interest (from options above) and operationalizing your independent and dependent variable.
In the second portion part of the worksheet, you will be drawing graphs of example data as if you had run the study. This will allow you to practice the different types of single-subject study designs and important aspects of data analysis. Important note: For each graph you draw, make sure you have at least three data points in each phase/condition and to label your X-axis and Y-axis.
You will be uploading inserting images of your Single-Subject Design graphs in the document itself. Make sure to follow all instructions included in the document.
