Write a Criminal justice paper.Your paper needs to address some aspects of the board topic of the international law. You can examine any specific topic included in the International Law class lecture and the International Law lecture powerpoint which is on the course webpage. Possibly review the legal issues raised by the defense in the Adolph Eichmann trial. Review the legal issues raised by the defense in the Nuremberg Trials and the Tokyo Ward Trials. Review those three trials from an historical context. Review the history of international law, particularly the writings of Hugo Grotius and Goldsworthy Dickinson. Review the historic impacts and activities of the Permanent Court of International Justice (an entity of the League of Nations), the Treaty of Windsor of 1386, and the Egyptian/Hittite agreement of 1259 BC (the Eternal or Silver Treaty). Review the activities and functions of the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court, the Permanent Court of arbitration, the European Court of Human Rights, the International Law Commission and/or the American Human Rights Tribunal. Review the Protect Act and the procedural points of law that have yet to be address within that law. Review the activities, outcome and impacts of the International Criminal Tribunals held in the aftermath of the genocides in Rwanda and Yugoslavia. Review the Princeton Principle of Universal Jurisdiction and discuss it’s implications for the future of international law.
