Organic vs. Non-Organic:The belief that organic foods are inherently healthier or more nutritious

This project will ask you to critically evaluate a nutritional topic that is commonly considered to be controversial. Topics include, but may not be limited to: use of supplements for sport performance or weight loss, vegan diets, keto diets, intermittent fasting, food waste and sustainability, nutrigenomics and personalized diets, etc. You are asked to present well-researched, two sides of the controversy (points for and against a particular point of view) supporting your arguments with peer reviewed scientific research. You should critically evaluate both sides of the argument and validity of the nutritional claims made, then present your evaluation of the controversy.

The essay should include an outline (25 pts), which contains all of the key arguments for and against the controversy. It should also include a statement of conclusion – your stand on the issue based on the arguments included.
Formating:
– Max. 7 pages including 5 pages of essay, one outline page, and one reference page
– max 1.5 space between lines, max 1 inch margins
– Standard font, pt 12
Paper should be accompanied by a reference list in APA or AMA format (please, be consistent).
