In this course, you will be completing a research paper. The paper should be a minimum of 1500 words with at least 5 sources. You may choose one of these two topics to examine:
the effects of climate change on international business
The paper will be graded on the basis of the Cambridge College Writing rubric and the Global Awareness rubric (see the MYCC home page).
The research paper must follow APA citation and reference page guidelines. No more than 30% of the paper should be directly quoted. All sources, whether quoted directly or paraphrased, must be cited in the text of the paper. The minimum word count does not include the words on the reference page. Encyclopedia sources are disallowed. Only sources available in the CC Library or publicly available Internet sources (no subscription-based sources) are allowed.
Papers that do not meet the minimum word count and research source requirements will not receive credit. Students who plagiarize the research paper, in whole or in part, will fail the course.
This week, you will submit your thesis statement and a list of at least three references in APA format.
