Submit one Film File based on one of the films above. Said Film Files
serve to create and model cultural artifacts that are imperative in film analysis and appreciation. The
following (all of equal grading weight) must be addressed in a clear, neat, systematic, lucid, concise and
thoughtful way:
–the film´s original title, translated into English title, and year film was released
–around a 250 word commentary as to why you selected the film
–a very brief biography of the film´s director
–a synopsis/summary of the film
–the primary characters of the film (with the name of the corresponding actors) and their personality traits,
values, and function within the film´s fabric
–the presence and use of Diegetic and non-Diegetic sounds
–the emotional range expressed in the film
–the essential themes/motifs/symbols in the film
–pay especially close attention to the function of OBJECTS
and COLORS in addition to the central THEMES
–the most memorable scene
–and justify your selection!!
–concluding commentary and three (3) questions you would ask the director
–also, include/incorporate any graphics/still-shots in relation to the film at hand—this will add life to your
film project.
