There are a few ways to approach your paper. For example, you might focus on a company or a technology or a usage of a particular technology. And regardless of what you choose to write about, you will need to look for relevant sources and make effective use of them in your paper. You are expected to find good sources outside of the course materials.
In this second essay, you will focus on mobile communication and social life. Choose an aspect of either interpersonal communication or life management and focus your discussion on an example (such as a case study) of mobile communication. If you are interested in interpersonal communication, you might focus on friendship (in person? at a distance? in-game?) or romantic connections or family or some other social setting. If you are interested in life management, you might focus on apps that seek to promote good behaviors or punish bad ones, or task-masters or mobile tools (e.g. VPNs that can pretend to be ‘on campus’ when we’re really at the beach), or software that seeks to make us more successful or (seemingly) richer or better-looking
