Which of the following comedic principles are used?

For this assignment, I would like you to review this video version of the farcical comedy, NOISES OFF, by analyzing the comedic elements. Which of the following comedic principles are used? Please describe the scene and where and how the comedic principle is used. Please choose 3 total elements and write one paragraph for each one. I’ve grouped them according to how you first encountered them.

For example, you might choose Incongruity, Inversion, and Exaggeration. Or, you might choose Misdirection, Repetition, and Narrative Gags. The choice is up to you! You can choose 3 from any of the following:
1. INCONGRUITY–As you will remember, this works by the element of surprise–people are not expecting the ending of the joke given to them. This process is described as Zig–Zig–Zag. Something normal is described, then something normal is described again, then something gets flipped which is a surprise to the audience. This makes it funny. It is also called THE RULE OF THREE in scripts.

4. HOW TO BE FUNNY VIDEO: (Choose any of these–you don’t need to use all 7) Exaggeration, Misdirection, Storytelling, Teasing, Sarcasm, Puns, Role-Playing.
