These competencies and practices are aligned with the Minnesota Standards of Effective Practice for beginning teachers. Consider how each competency/practice relates to the lesson plan for this teaching scenario.
Make notes in the second column about what you heard or observed in the video that provides evidence of the competencies and practices and their effectiveness in this particular lesson with this particular class of students. Pay attention to what the teacher says about the thinking and rationale for instructional planning and decision making.
