Email Long Header
Analysis and Cybercrime Investigations.

Select 1 Good Email
and 1 SPAM email each from 2 email services such Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Outlook,
Apple Mail, Excite Webmail, Opera, etc.(This is assuming that you have at least
two email addresses from a different email service)

Open your emails and find 1 “Good” Mail and 1 SPAM mail your
received within the period March 15 to April 30, 2022, 1 each from 2 of your
email services, you can use your SCSU email (that is Outlook) as one of the
email services you selected. Access the long header of the emails and using the
“Message Header Tool”, analyze the email header

For help on how to access the long header of emails for
various email service providers and how to interpret the long headers, go to

Required:
1. Copy and paste the long header in its raw
format
2. Analyze the header using the “Message
Header Tool”, then Copy and paste the Result of the analysis. If you have an
error message copy and paste the error message also.
3. With respect to the SPF, DKIM and DMARC
analysis did you notice any difference between the result of the “Good” mails
and those of the SPAM mails?
4. Explain how the analysis of
the long header email address can assist in solving a fraud or crime involving theuse of scam email communication?
