In this paper, you will revisit the problem you identified in your first paper of the semester (How to help the unhoused in DC, USA beyond the traditional homeless shelter and food bank). How to help them get off the streets, start working, and get back into the society .
You may find it useful to review the model papers from past semesters, written by Julia Clark and Margaret (Meg) Lanthier.

Enrich your analysis of the nature and scope of this problem dependent on factors such as race, gender, social class, religion, national origin, etc.
What would a world look like in which this problem was completely resolved?
Present and describe at least three long-standing or traditional approaches to solving this societal problem by nonprofit organizations.
Briefly comment on the pros and cons of each based on objective evidence (data) whenever possible. Your deeper level of analysis should reflect what you have learned in the course since you wrote the original paper.
Identify at least one nonprofit organization that is known to be effective at implementing each solution.
Describe their theory of change and what assumptions it makes.
For at least one organization, identify inputs, outputs, outcomes, and impacts.
If you wish to present a policy solution or one that would be implemented by government, focus your case on the role of nonprofits in advocating for and ensuring appropriate implementation of this policy solution rather than on the efficacy of the policy itself (through briefly summarizing the benefits of the policy is appropriate)
Present and describe at least two newer, more innovative solutions to this problem by nonprofit organizations or social enterprises (for-profits that work to solve social problems).
Also comment on their pros and cons and leading practitioners of this solution, and how effective those practitioner are in applying that solution to solve the societal problem.
For at least one nonprofit organization for each solution, describe the theory of change and its underlying assumptions. Then identify inputs, outputs, outcomes, and impacts.
For the traditional and newer solutions, you can and should update and go deeper into the solutions in your earlier paper, or you can choose new solutions, or some combination.
Now, propose your own unique solution to this problem, which may be completely new, or it can be a variation or enhanced version of some existing solution that to.

Why do you think this solution will be effective? How would you get it off the ground?
What would be the biggest challenges to proving the concept in the real world and how might those challenges be overcome? How might proof of concept be achieved and once achieved, how could it be scaled up to reach large numbers?
