Below I pasted the structures of the research paper given by my professor. So this might be easier to get an idea on how to write it. The research question is the one I mentioned above and the ideas mentioned below.

Here are two ways you can structure the paper:
1) Pose a research question and make this be the first sentence of your analytical research paper. You
could pose 2 or 3 or 4 interrelated questions that your research will answer.
E.g. If you told me you were interested in the link between patriarchy and migration, you could
formulate a specific research question such as this: How do patriarchal institutions and norms in X
country shape women’s decision to migrate? How do patriarchal norms and institutions shape the
experiences of migrants in Y country? OR
2) Put forth a thesis statement as your first sentence. This should not be an obvious fact. It should be
open to debate. Your research should support this thesis/argument.
Example: The United States has not ratified the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination
against Women (CEDAW). One of the reasons given for this has been the idea that women in the U.S.
already enjoy equal rights and unlike women in other places, American women have no need for
CEDAW. This paper argues that this is a . This paper argues that this is a mistaken notion that reproduces “American exceptionalism”
and works to the detriment of certain groups of women in the U.S.
Another e.g. “While most people in the United States see U.S. intervention in Middle Eastern countries
as a necessary evil that nevertheless benefits women who previously lived under oppressive regimes,
recent evidence shows that women have actually fared worse in countries that have been invaded by the
U.S. This paper supports this by reference to data gathered from the scholarly literature and government
and NGO reports published in or on Afghanistan and Iraq.”
