(Media’s role)
The media plays important roles in our daily lives as well as in politics. Answer the
following two questions. You might want to incorporate the things we discussed in our class.
First, the media sets our worldview, perception, and truth even in democratic countries.
Discuss why it happens referring to the notions of truth, facts, and framing and providing
an example of your own experience.
Second, social media challenges the media’s monopoly of truth. Discuss why it happens,
and how social media changes the game of politics, providing a specific example.
