· This course has been an overview of the traditional building materials and methods used in construction. We are currently seeing a surge in non-traditional building materials and methods. A few of these materials include; straw bales, rammed earth-tires, shipping containers, recycled plastics, cob, heavy timber high-rise construction, and tiny homes to name a few. For this project you will research a topic of your choice and present in a 4-5 page double space paper showing your findings and giving your reflection of the material or method. You can and encouraged to include pictures and any material approvals via codes and standards that you find. This is a college paper and you will be graded on presentation, grammar, and length. Note: The final project must be submitted to the appropriate module drop-box.
