Project – Illustrating Wave Behavior
Wave behavior is exhibited in many forms. In this project, you will document 6 different wave behaviors and describe these waves.
2 mechanical waves: water wave and standing waves.
2 light waves: refraction and diffraction
2 sound waves: echoes and resonance
Your PowerPoint should contain:
1. A title page that includes your name.
2. Each slide must contain a picture showing the wave behavior described.
3. Each slide must include information on:
-the type of wave (transverse or longitudinal)
-the medium of the wave (what the wave is moving through)
– the approximate velocity, wavelength and frequency of the wave shown
– the definition or description of the wave behavior shown.
1 embedded video file or link to a video file online.
1 embedded audio file or link to an audio file online.
1 calculation describing the wave behavior.
Appearance of slides DOES count. Slides should be readable and attractive.
Only due references slide, do not do in text-citations.
