Refer to Resource 1 Analyzing Strategic Health Care Cases to be sure your case study analysis follows the format described on pages 432 through 442. A good case analysis will have all the necessary components addressing these key area:
1. Key issues: 1 page This is an excutive summary and is done in a narrative format—no bullets–good sub-titles are expected to guide the reader. Keep in mind your audience.
2. Situational Analysis: 2 pages, to include external analysis, service area competitor analysis, internal analysis, and directional strategies.
3. Strategy Formulation: 3 pages analysis of feasible alternatives for directional, adaptive, market entry/exit, and competitive strategies
4. Recommendation:1 page analysis of feasible alternatives, and which ones are recommended.
5. Implementation Strategies: 2 pages service delivery and support strategies with linkage to the directional, adaptive, market entry/exit, and competitive strategies
6. Benchmark for Success and Contingency Plans: 1 page measures of success for the strategy and alternative plans if a major opportunity or threat is subject to change in the short run
The format of your document is the following:
1. This document should be a word doc (no PDF accepted)
2. 10 pages, single spaced, and with one inch margins. If you are over 10 pages it is OK
3. Cover page based on APA formatting style- cover page is not counted in the number of pages
4. References must be in-text and in a reference section
