2,000 word essay/case study as follows:

‘What happens to the child?’ Using knowledge from the module; use your essay to explain how (in your view) the person with lived experience’s early life experiences may have contributed to their development as an adult. You should consider their experiences of professional intervention (or lack of professional intervention); their early childhood relationships and experiences and the ways in which they describe and account for their life now. You should be clear to take a lifespan perspective, drawing from the theories and concepts you have learned throughout the module, and considering how all of these continue across the lifespan and sometimes inter- generationally’.
This work will be assessed alongisde all 4 learninging outcomes.
(LO1) Engage critically with psychological and/or sociological theories across the lifecourse which are relevant to your chosen perspective.
(LO2) Demonstrate the ability to identify characteristics of ‘normal’ or average development in childhood, together with a critical analysis of the potential impacts of change, loss, abuse and disruption
(LO3) Identify key learning from working with a service user, which explains both the service user perspective and your own reflections and responses to this.
(LO4) Produce a clear, well-written assignment which explores and accounts for the relationship between childhood experiences and adult development.
