Despite the simplicity of the statement above, working with people can be quite complex. Effective health care administrators, managers, and leaders need to be aware of the differences in how people process information, communicate, and accomplish various tasks. In this MHA program, you are encouraged to deepen and broaden your awareness of your own preferences, as well as those of the people with whom you work. Fostering this consciousness can help you leverage individual strengths and address challenges that may impede the effectiveness of a team, department, or organization.
