What we have learned over the last few weeks is that critical thinking can be taught, it requires practice, commitment, and the ability to stay present in the moment. So why aren’t we all engaging in critical thinking? Look over this Critical Thinking Character Traits page. Consider how much of each of these traits you actually possess.

In one – two pages, answer the following questions: what critical thinking skills are required for your field; to what extent can you build the strengths in one or more of the critical thinking traits that you feel could be improved?; how would you go about doing this? Be sure to share what your field is and what your job would entail. Also be specific in identifying how you would go about building strengths!

Then, think about how you can deploy critical thinking in your specific field. (Nursing)
