Complete the Rokeach Values Inventory (but do NOT turn it in). When you have completed the Rokeach Inventory, you should have a good sense of what your most important terminal and instrumental values are, and WHY these are your values. Next, spend some time thinking about what your values mean in relation to your employment, your family relationships, your friendships, and the way you spend your leisure time (with hobbies, recreational activities, etc.). Are there any significant conflicts you see between what your most important values are, and your employment, your family relationships, your friendships, and the way you spend your leisure time? What changes do you think you should consider making in key areas of your life? FINALLY: write a 3-4-page essay that (1) describes what your 5 most important Terminal values are, and what your 5 most important Instrumental values are, and WHY these are values to you; and (2) write about what your most important values mean in relation to your employment, family relationships, friendships, leisure time, as well as possible changes you think you should consider. Your essay should be about 3-4 pages in length, and you should submit it on Camino. Again, you should keep the Rokeach Inventory you took; do not submit it. Only submit the essay you write.
