First, go read the lab instructions for weeks 9, 10, and 11 to understand the rationale and background of each experiment. In weeks 10 and 11, the instructions also described expected analyses, figures, graphs, and statistics. You are expected to evaluate cell morphology, cell number, and cell proliferation in each growth condition—‘cells in gels’, ‘cells on gels’, and ‘cells in 2D’—and to draw conclusions as to whether ‘cells on gels’ is more like one of the other two conditions using these analyses. You also will want to compare the cells in 2D vs. 3D using these analyses. Also remember to include results from your cell viability counts performed in Week 9, including how many cells were seeded into each well.
