module.
2. Review our comics lectures and reading
3. Choose one of the three superhero films available to you in Sharestream Media. These
include Kickass, Wonder Woman and Black Panther.
You learned in my lecture that the best villains are so similar to the hero, that they could have
been (or were) friends. In the reading for the final, you’ll see that Fingeroth calls villains “the
dark side” of the hero. To take this a step further, as I said in lecture, what makes the hero so
heroic is often their willingness to sacrifice their personal gain or individual happiness for the
good of the community. This sacrifice is what marks them as heroic, and separates heroes from
villains.
After reviewing the readings and lecture, answer the following in a 750-word essay:
